What a brilliant day out. As PE Mark mentioned in his musings above, we had a superb day, interesting facts, fun fellowship, too much ice-cream. Don Cardow! What a passionate and interesting program you produced. Your passion for the land and history of the places we visited was contagious. To be standing on the side of a road, looking out over pastures, hills and a creek, learning that a vibrant community lived there years ago, with a general store, school, dairy, abattoir and tennis courts was mind boggling. A huge thank you for the work you put into the event. It is greatly appreciated.
