100th Centenary Baton Relay Walk - Friday 5th February 2021
Rotary Australia 100th year celebration Baton Relay was successfully launched Friday morning in my Rotary District 9640 from the historic city of Grafton in NSW by the Mayor of the Clarence Valley Council my friend Jim Symmons. This high impact 4km community march over the 2 bridges in the city with 100 participants from community and local high schools was jointly organised by Rotary Clubs of Grafton, Grafton Mid Day and Maclean. My Assistant Governor Club Presidents Chris Wheelahan, , Leigh Barrington and our District Governor Nominee Designate Davey N Robii Harmon
demonstrated superior organisational leadership to engage the Grafton community. Chanel 9 and 3 local newspapers covered the march to give wide reach to our relay with a cause "Rotary says No to domestic violence" Join us #peopleofaction www.rotary.org
