One of our club's key strategic priorities has always been to organise and run a major annual signature event for our community and for over 20 years our signature event was the highly successful Bundaberg Multicultural Festival.

After many years of organising the Bundaberg Multicultural Festival, our club agreed that with so many similar events being added to yearly events calendars, it was time to investigate options for a new signature event.  After a lot of research and groundwork, former member Gary Kirk and a group of dedicated members brought the concept of Oceanfest to our club members which was subsequently adopted.

The inaugural Oceanfest event commenced in 2017 with significant support and acclamation from the community and has continued going from strength to strength each year since with the exception of 2020.

Our club is extremely proud of Oceanfest as it not only provides an amazing opportunity to bring the community together around an important local industry, great food and music but it helps to raise much-needed funds for various charities and local community organisations.
