Dolly Parton was widely loved as “everyone’s mother”. A beacon of light, warmth, and boundless generosity who spent her life lifting others up. Inspired by her father’s inability to read, she founded the Imagination Library in 1995 to foster a love of reading in young children around the world. Supporting Basic Education & Literacy is core to our Rotary mission, and we are proud to honor Dolly’s incredible legacy. In her memory, we will be giving away 100 free books to children at our upcoming 10th Annual Safety Fair for Kids ! 📚✨ If Dolly is heavy on your heart today, we encourage you to visit the Hamlin Community Library . Take a quiet moment outside by our butterfly garden and enjoy a book from the Little Free Library created by the Hideout Woodworkers Club 📖🦋 Join us as we celebrate literacy, community, and the lasting gift of a good story.
