The Rotary Club of Hamlin/Lake Ariel hosted their "Pints for Polio" event on World Polio Day, October 24th.
Thank you to R Place on 590 for agreeing to partner with us on this event on a day that means so much to us as Rotarians!

Rotarian John Giguere was a guest bartender and wife/fellow Rotarian Susan waited tables. Both took the time earlier in the week to have some prior training at the venue so they could be the best bartender and waitress possible. Rotarian Eileen Culley could be found at the Hamlin Four-Corners with a sign promoting the event on display. Other members of the club attended the event and mingled with the patrons of the establishment in an effort to spread the word about Rotary's effort to "End Polio Now".

The club raised a total of $588 which will be submitted in to the Rotary Foundation for the Polio Plus Fund.

A great time was had by all and we look forward to doing this kind of event again in the future!
