The Rotary Club of Hamlin - Lake Ariel hosted a Meet Rotary night on October 10 in lieu of its weekly meeting. Club members invited guests from the local community to join in a light snack and learn more about what Rotary is and does for the Community. The evening began with a short video presentation followed by brief descriptions of Rotary areas of focus.

Participants learned about the various events and projects sponsored by the local club including Safe Kids Fair, Food pantry collections, donations of equipment to Salem Park. The club also shared information about its support of youth in our community through leadership training, scholarships, summer reading program, and sponsorship of a High School Interact Club.

The event culminated with the induction of a new member, Marisa Romano. Marisa is shown here accepting her pin from Sponsor Terri Ditty. Also shown is club President Eileen Talalas. The club meets weekly, Tuesdays at 5:30 pm at RPlace in Hamlin. All are welcome.
