In collaboration with the Wayne County Emergency Food Relief Fund, the Rotary Club of Hamlin/Lake Ariel
delivered bags of Essentials & Food to the Seniors of Hamlin Heights!

Rotarians purchased items for each "Essential/Care" Bag to give to the seniors during the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Inside the bags were items such as toilet paper, body wash, mouth wash, soap, laundry detergent etc. A total of 40 bags were packed & delivered.

In conjunction with the Wayne County Emergency Food Relief Fund - we were also able to
coordinate a bag of groceries to accompany each of our bags as well!

As a reminder to all: If you or you and your family are in need of emergency food assistance - please do NOT hesitate to sign up for the Food Relief Fund! They are able to assist you! Please read more about this in our post here.

Rotarians are committed to improving our local and global community and the lives of people who call our area home. We have been active in the area since being chartered in 2012. In living up to the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self”, we have completed many projects including improvements to Salem Park and the donation of a Gazebo at the Hamlin Senior Center. We hold a Safe Kids Fair annually giving away car seats, bike helmets, life vests, and much more. We collect food for local pantries and provide financial support to many other organizations. We work with Rotarians world-wide to eradicate polio, responding to disasters, improving health, sanitation, education and literacy.

The Rotary Club of Hamlin Lake Ariel is made up of your friends and neighbors who care about our community.
