annual Chili Cook Off!

1st Place wins $100 | 2nd Place wins $50 | 3rd Place wins $25

Tasting tickets are $10/per person. You may purchase tasting tickets ahead of time or at the door. Payments may also be made via Venmo: @HamlinLakeArielRotary. Please include your name & "tasting ticket" in the memo if submitting your payment via venmo.

We will also have a basket raffle and a 50/50! There's lots of fun to be had by all.
 

Guidelines for contest:

• The entry fee for the contest is $5. Please complete a registration form and return with payment prior to the event date. Payments may also be made via Venmo: @HamlinLakeArielRotary. Please include your name & "Chili Cook Off Registration" in the memo if submitting your payment via venmo.
• Your submission should be delivered ready to serve and in a crock pot or other electric heating vessel by 3 pm- we suggest 2 gallons. We will supply power cords.
• Extras should be in quart or other covered containers. We will have attendants to refill as needed.
• Briefly describe your submission on the registration form based on ingredients. A card will be prepared at registration. Information identifying contestant is NOT permitted (Mary’s secret recipe).
• Please notify us if your recipe contains any common allergens such as nuts, gluten, soy, dairy.
• All attendees will receive 1 ballot for each contest.
• Tasting starts at 4.
• Contestants should remain anonymous and not entice votes.
• Ballots will be tallied at 6:00pm, Cash prize of $100 will be awarded to the person receiving the most votes. Second Place winner will receive $50, Third place will receive $25.
