Held on the last Sunday of the annual Tremains Art Deco Fesitval, the Derby attracts a large number of participants all eager to be the fastest down the child friendly Tennyson Street incline. Each year a huge crowd of onlookers cheer the boys and girls as they hurtle themselves downward on modern feats of parental engineering, all vying for first place in their age group or the open category.
