Charter Members

Our Club was formed in 1999. It was a struggle to get the necessary 20 people to start the club. We appreciate the commitment that these people made to start a new Rotary Club in Napier, and the first breakfast club. We gained new members in our first year, but we seemed to lose members at the same rate, so it was not for several years that our membership crept above the 20 minimum for a Rotary Club. We have now reached 30 members and 40 is the new target!
