New Technology Coming Soon
The Covid 19 pandemic raised previously unforeseen problems with enormous ramifications for training technicians at new workshop sites. How could Rotary Jaipur Limb provide training when trainers were unable to travel? With borders closed, everyone was under some form of personal restriction on their movements.
The Rotary Jaipur Limb answer is to engage a European company, Iristick, together with their software supplier to use the amazing “Smart Glasses” for distance training in a telemedicine manner. Its first introduction will enable trainers in India to support trainees in our newest workshop in the Gondar University Hospital in northern Ethiopia. See the Video Links at the left of this page for a short presentation on how it will work and what it will cost. We see this as an ongoing method of training and real time problem solving as well as providing a reduction in the carbon footprint created by in person training.
