Our U of C Rotaract has been busy lately. Read more to find out what we're up to!
On the weekend of November 25, members of our club had the amazing opportunity to attend the 2023 Rockies to the Prairies Summit! Members got to meet amazing people, hear inspiring words of wisdom from leaders in Rotaract and, of course, have lots of fun with fellowship activities!
Those who attended would like to thank the TrP committee for their effort and hard work in planning this event and the U of A Rotaract Club for graciously hosting us! Having all our clubs get together in one space is truly something special, and we will cherish the wonderful memories made.
Recently on November 30th, we were honoured to have the opportunity to volunteer at the Calgary Chinook Care Centre. As a team we worked together to make 76 care packages, filled with toiletries, health, wellness items, and more. These were then donated to the elderly at the home. Thanks to the Chinook Care Centre for graciously welcoming the club and working with them to make this initiative happen.
After the volunteering, club members headed out for a fellowship dinner, a night of laughter, bonding and, of course, great food!
