Once again the CHILD Foundation is hosting its annual celebration and fund-raiser in support of the Maya Devi Charitable Hospital in Sarurpur, India. Of note, the hospital has been the recipient of multiple Rotary grants to help build its capacity and expand its service offerings.
As many Rotarians from our club and other clubs (as well as our district leadership) experienced last year, participants will enjoy delicious Indian food, be treated to an Indian dance performance, hear from a panel of avid supporters and learn about our new youth-focused Computer Lab / Library initiative.
Once again, the cost of the banquet has been covered by a generous sponsor so there in NO COST to attend. As a result, 100% of you and your guests' donations will go towards work at the hospital.

Please join us for Maya’s Dream 2025 at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18 at the Empire Banquet Hall, 4826 – 11 Street NE, Calgary to celebrate and hear about the achievements of CHILD Foundation and the Maya Devi Hospital over the past year. Thank you to Emprise Canada for once again sponsoring a delicious Indian buffet. You will also enjoy tapping your toes during energetic cultural dance performances.
We will share with you the ways in which we have been responding to the changing needs of the community of Sarurpur, India. We have enhanced our health services by adding dental care and added a library and computer resource centre to assist youth in advancing career opportunities.
