Following the introduction of visitors and guests, Rotary birthdays were announced .  The singing of happy Birthday featured another strange key and tempo by Frank…is he trying to tell us something ?

Bill Avery delivered a warm salute to Frank McKitrick who, like Don McLean’s trio, is “Taking the last train to the coast”.  Let’s hope this isn’t  “The Day the Music Died” ! As Bill reminded us of all Frank’s contributions to the Rotary Show and the musical life of our club, we sang a special version of “Thanks For the Memories”. One of the longer standing ovations in club history ensued.

As the applause subsided, Sean Baylis took the podium to promote the Stay-In-School golf tournament June 25 at Silvertip.

The Sneak-A-Peak Stampede meeting was described by Bob Pearson.

Then Joe Fras told us that there were still some BBQ positions open, particularly in a supervisory role.  But if your forte is slinging beer, there is room for you too.
