Dr. Ian Walker, a clinical emergency physician, is also the Director of Admissions for the MD program at the Cumming School of Medicine.  As part of that role, he has been responsible for the development and implementation of the “Pathways to Medicine Program” which is a pipeline program for low-income high school graduates interested in entering medical school.   Pathways to Medicine is now in its second year of operation, with 11 active students.

Dr. Walker was also a Rotary Exchange student from Northern Ontario to Thailand in Grade 12.
