Granting Strategy Looking for YOUR Input The Granting Strategy Task Force Every year our club receives around $2M from the Calgary Rotary Clubs Foundation. As a result, we have been making significant contributions to our world- local and international. Our latest big legacy project, lasting 5 years, was the HUBS project. When we started the selection of a new Legacy project, we identified the need be more robust in our purpose, our process and our governance. As a result the board approved the Legacy Projects and Funding Review task force (aka Legacy Task Force) to have a thorough look at all of this. The Legacy Task Force brought to light the need to establish a granting strategy across our local community-based platforms and so, the Granting Strategy Task Force was born. This task force has been hard at work of the last few months. Now it's time to share what we have documented. In the coming weeks we are inviting all of you to participate with the task force in its provision of a club-wide engagement activity towards developing our updated granting strategy.
