Rotary Improves Access to Emergency Food in Calgary

Our Rotary Club collaborates with others on improving access to emergency food. Food insecurity is a huge challenge in our community after the pandemic. A report released this past year has Alberta having the highest level of food insecurity in Canada.

It was mentioned at Tuesday’s club meeting (July 18, 2023) that Past President and Honorary Member Bill Kaufman was moved to hospice care. Sadly, immediate after our noon meeting we were advised that Bill passed. Funeral details are as follows.
