Our Speaker Gerrad Oishi

Maja Starovic  introduced the speaker Gerrad Oishi.

Gerrad has a unique background in business and society building. He is experienced in the creation of new models to finance social programs and affordable housing through his work as Vice President Social Enterprise with the Calgary Homeless Foundation. As Managing Director of Lodestone Social Ventures, he worked with diverse groups including the CBC to build audience and increase support for public broadcasting.

Rotary Adult Literacy Bursaries - Bow Valley College – School of Foundational Learning Awards Ceremony
Rotary Adult Literacy Bursaries were presented to Bow Valley College students at the March 15 School of Foundational Learning Awards Ceremony.  The Bursaries were presented by Keith Seel, Dean of the School of Foundational Learning, and by Al McMillan, Chair of the Rotary Club of Calgary Adult Literacy Committee.  The attached Report highlights the six students who received these Awards and tells their story.
