An email that was forwarded to me from the United Way from Carmen Marquez, the social worker at  the Village Square Community Hub.  Click the Read More link to see the letter.  It is one example of the community building that goes on at the Hubs.   It's a nice Valentine's Day story, where the students got a lesson about being in service.

“As part of the 3 Things for Canada campaign, two local playschool teachers, Tracey and Leona, worked with Snanna (Temple community ambassador) to buy flowers for people with disabilities in celebration of Valentine's Day. The 3 year old class handed out 50 flowers at the Village Square Community Hub this morning and the activity brought such joy to people's faces. You could see how surprised and thankful everyone was and the halls look a lot more colorful today! At one point Tracey and Snanna (maybe even me) got a bit emotional to see the reactions from everyone. My pictures don’t do it justice but here you go.”
