Michael Pierson was back on the piano for O Canada.  President Rob called the meeting to order and presented Kelly Mitchell who delivered a short evocative invocation.  After a period of fellowship and dining, Carmen Goss introduced visitors and guests then found two Rotarians present for their birthday recognition, Donna Livingstone and Bob Pearson.

By a unanimous vote the assembled approved the appointment of Don Dart and Brent Alexander to the CRCF Board.  President Rob also gave formal notice of the Club’s AGM June 28.

The Waterton Glacier Conference September 16-18.  The good news is the lodge has reopened after it’s recent fire and there will be special events related to the celebration of the Centennial of the U.S. National park system.  If you want to stay at the historic Lodge you have until June 30th to book before these prized rooms are released to the public.

The Stay In School Golf tournament is looking for sponsors and there is room for more golfers.  The Hamptons Golf club will be the venue for the first time, a lot closer than previous tournaments so grab your clubs and saddle up for this important fundraiser for our exceptional SIS program.

Stampede BBQs Joe Fras reports that while we are a bit ahead of schedule on volunteers, we still need about 140 shifts for each event.  To date about 80 Club members have not yet signed up for this, our major fundraiser so it’s time to get to the website and find a job you can do.
