Mark your calendar folks; the Calgary Reads Big Book Sale brought to you by the Rotary Club of Calgary will take place from April 25 (setup) through May 9 (first day of sale "Spread the Words" event) up to the last day on May 20 (Victoria Day ... everything is free). Check out the details.
April 25 (Thurs) - access to the Calgary Curling Club Rink
April 26 (Fri) - First day of set up
April 26 to May 5: RECEIVE BOOK DONATIONS - SORT & SETUP also includes May 6, 7, 8 (no book donations those 3 days)
April 27 (Sat) and April 28 (Sun) STUFF a TRUCK events
May 9 (Thur) : SPREAD THE WORDS (first day of sale - CLUB will provide Bar-b-q - this is only for the over 1,000 volunteers)
May 10 (Fri) to May 20 (Mon, Victoria day) Book Sale now open to the public. Last day is FREE day
May 21 (Tue) and May 22 (Wed): Knock down and clean up
Our Rotary Big Book Sale committee expects everyone to work at least one shift. There are lots of opportunities to meet anyone's scheduling requirements over the period of April 25 to May 22.
