RLI – More than Another Rotary Acronym!
Posted by Manon Mitchell
Isn’t that Cathy, Peter and Tim smiling and having fun in this picture? You bet it is! And why are these Rotarians laughing and smiling? They just spent a full day at Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) with facilitators Kurt Kowalchuk, Manon Mitchell (RC Calgary) and Karen Shepherd (RC Olympic). There is nothing more exciting than to maximize the value you get from being a Rotarian and all it takes is the willingness to spend one day in the company of like minded people, learning and discovering the many aspects of Rotary.RLI facilitators, your fellow Rotarians, meet on a regular basis to review the curriculum and explore how to engage participants so you can get the most out of your day. Our own Kurt Kowalchuk and Manon Mitchell have been facilitating RLI courses for 3 years now and they thoroughly enjoyed engaging with Rotarians in discussion and tackling some very interesting questions throughout the day.
RLI isn’t just for Rotarians who wish to be Club President. RLI is for anyone who wants to help Rotary address some of its biggest challenges. The topics covered in RLI 1, 2 and 3 build the capacity of all individuals who want to see our organization flourish. RLI gives you the knowledge, makes those connections and helps you to identify how you can help Rotary continue to have an impact.
How exciting would it be to discover all that Rotary offers? What are you waiting for? Check out the District Calendar to find out when there is a RLI training session near you and REGISTER TODAY! You can still register for RLI 2 on March 4 and join Tim Peter and Cathy on the great Rotary journey.
