Dr. Bhavini Gohel from the Medical Advisory Board of the Child Foundations shared a really worthwhile project she and her team are involved in.
  • Dr. Gohel shares a medical center in a village 50 km from New Delhi City, India.
  • This village has a population of 27,000 but the medical need is huge because the village has never had any center or medical hub that the people would need.
  • It has medical storage, inside the building, to store the necessary medical material for the village patients.
  • The facility has 4 official positions to handle the patients from the surrounding areas.
  • Based on historical data, the peak number of patients came from 2013 Q3 and 2016 Q3, which had about 7000 and 5800 patients in these quarters. That maximum was about 75 patients an hour. That is less than 1 min consultation time per patient at the peak.
  • The needs are really huge for the medical center in this village and this shows the work Dr. Bhavini Gohel and her team have done for this community.
