We are thrilled and honored to share the wonderful news that Lou MacEachern has been acknowledged by Junior Achievement of Southern Alberta, securing a prestigious position as a distinguished member of The Alberta Business Hall of Fame – Southern Alberta (ABHF). This recognition fills us with immense pride and joy. The ABHF recognizes the efforts of our most distinguished citizens- people who have helped shape our province and become role-models to our youth.
Each year, senior business leaders from across southern Alberta gather to celebrate business in our region. The Alberta Business Hall of Fame – Southern Alberta, Gala Dinner and Induction Ceremony honours our most esteemed business leaders for their life achievements and service to the economy, community and our future. It is the premier annual gathering of business and community leaders from within every sector.
Lou, as well as 3 other Inductees all of whom exemplify a vision of prosperity, has been chosen for his significant contributions to Alberta’s success, its citizens and for the example he have set for others. Notably, all these inductees are mentors and role models for youth and the business leaders of tomorrow.
Financier Ron Mathison, Servpro founder Lou MacEachern and Dr. Breanne Everett will join the well-known Dragons’ Den investor at the Oct. 5 ceremony, organizers Junior Achievement Southern Alberta announced Monday.
Lou started Servpro, a commercial cleaning company, almost 60 years ago in Calgary. He sold the business in 2000 and is now president of Fortune Industries, a local property management and financing company.
His extensive volunteer and philanthropic interests extend to his native Prince Edward Island and Calgary.
The Lou MacEachern Fund and others at the Calgary Foundation have supported SAIT, Bow Valley College, the YMCA and Junior Achievement, among others.
Lou has been an active member of our club since June of 1980!
