Rotary Helps YYC

February 2024 marks one year since 8 of the 13 Calgary Rotary Clubs launched Rotary Helps YYC. This was a response to a community request to create a “one window” approach for Rotary support.
In its first eleven months 47 applications were received. Sixteen applications were supported for $261,500. Through this increased coordination, six applications were supported by two or more clubs. In so doing, together we were able to leverage funds.
All Rotarians are encouraged to inform charities in our community to apply to Rotary Helps YYC.

Applications received are reviewed by all 8 clubs. For the Downtown Club, applications for $10K+ are reviewed by the Major Donations Committee and applications for less than $10K are reviewed by the Small Donations Committee. For more information contact Franco.Savoia and Bob Ermter.
