Our own Rotarians, Dr. Walley Temple, and our club's Cervical Cancer project in Guatemala is mentioned in November's Rotary Magazine in RI President Shekar Mehta's opening remarks.
In this month’s edition of the “Rotary” magazine, RI President Shekar Mehta in his monthly message, referenced a project led by the Rotary Club of Calgary. We’ve been noticed by the Rotary International President! Under the leadership of Dr. Walley Temple, member of our club, this project in Guatemala addresses the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer. The Rotary Club of Guatemala La Reforma is the wonderful host club enabling this project to a successful conclusion.
