Our Club in the HOUSE OF FRIENDSHIP in Singapore!

The Rotary Club of Calgary has been approved for a booth in the House of Friendship at the 2024 Rotary convention in Singapore. An application through the World Community Service committee will allow us to highlight our activities (local and global) May 25- 29 (noon), 2024. Anyone wishing to contribute to the content (whether or not you are going to Singapore) is encouraged to contact doug.mcmillan@dal.ca by February 24, 2024.
This booth will highlight two areas of activity of the Rotary Club of Calgary. Literacy for the mind will illustrate local and global activities to improve literacy to benefit economic status. Education for your health will relate to prevention and early detection of cervical cancer. Both will stimulate similar activities for other Rotarians and provide collaboration opportunities for the future.
We need to plan visual materials (posters, videos, pamphlets, etc) to highlight these and other club activities. We can also decide what we might wish to have available to encourage further contact with the Rotary Club of Calgary and attendance at the 2025 convention on Calgary.
