While in Comox B.C. Kurt and Manon visited one of the 5 Rotary clubs in the Comox Valley.
The Rotary Club of Comox Valley meets at the 40 Knots winery on Tuesday evening. It was a great meeting learning about the remediation of a section along the local river after the saw mill closed down many years ago. We also learned about the upcoming Ribfest. After club business, we all engaged a fun word game. It was great fellowship time and we all got to know each other in a fun, interactive way.
Kurt presented our club banner to their club president, Kevin Niemi, and inspired them to get theirs done! What a great time at this fun, informal club meeting!
