The Ogden location was busy that day with volunteers and tables providing not only backpacks but snacks (by the box full!), clothing and some school supplies. It was wonderful to meet the staff and volunteers and of course have a great chat with Jane Wachowich, the Founding Board Member and Executive Director of the Youth Centres of Calgary.Our own Disconausaurus Rex also helped out and made friends with the centre’s dog, Henry. Diconausaurus Rex even played a game of British Bulldog with the kids at the park across the street! Rotarians Sean Baylis and Manon Mitchell (accompanied by her granddaughter Jacqueline) had a lot of fun chatting with everyone there and helping with the distribution.
