A Year Ends - A New Rotary Year Begins

Our final meeting of the Rotary year was held on Tuesday June 25 and was well attended. Over 50 club members enjoyed the buffet lunch and congratulated President Craig on another great Rotary year.
Of note was the presentation of two (2) Paul Harris Fellowship awards.
George Brookman presented one to Steve McDonough and Steve Allan presented another to Vern Kimball . Both gentlemen were recognized for their contribution to Calgary's vibrant community as Past Presidents of the Calgary Stampede. 
Our exchange student, Arthur Steque, gave us a final presentation as he will be returning to his home in Brazil on July 15th. What an incredible year he has created for himself, learning how to ski and skate, participating in the Drumheller Guiness World Record for the number of people wearing dinosaur costumers and even participating in the Rotary Adventures in Citizenship in Ottawa! We'll miss you Arthur; we wish you all the very best.
Incoming President Joe Fras Joe Fras welcomed everyone to the new Rotary year and gave us a glimpse of what we could expect in the months to come. He also introduced the 2023-2024 board of directors.
