The Director of Fellowship is Ginny Sparks-Kellough

The main purposes of the Fellowship Committee are to optimize and integrate all aspects of the club's fellowship activities, and to develop sustainable processes and systems to maintain that purpose consistent with the Club's Long Range Plan.

The Fellowship Committee organizes special meetings and activities:

  • Christmas Dinner - in conjunction with the Programs Committee
  • Stampede Sneak a Peek - in conjunction with the Programs Committee
  • Stampede President's Dinner - in conjunction with the Programs Committee
  • Frank ‘n Stein (Contact Frank Sparks or Steve Stein) A monthly gathering on the third Thursday of each month at a local watering hole for good conversation and a few laughs. Contact Frank Sparks or Steve Stein.
  • Dinner Club (Contact Gary Murray) - Registration is in September. Usually 4 dinners are held per year during the Fall and Spring.  Each dining group consists of 4 couples.  Each couple acts as a host for one meal in their home and is the guest at the other 3.

  • Hiking (Contact Paul Bates)  One hike is usually planned later in the Summer.

  • Hockey Scrimmage/Family Skate – Annual event that held at the Saddledome for members and their families to skate and/or participate in a friendly scrimmage game.

  • Ski and Stroll Day (Contact Madeleine King) A one day event for members and partners usually at Lake Louise.   Bus transportation is provided. 

  • Lobster Fest (Contact Jeremy Mroch)  A spring dinner open to members and partners

  • President’s Event – Generally held in the Spring to celebrate the Club President.

  • Valentine's Day Wine and Cheese (Contact Ken Moraes)

  • Chinese New Year Dinner (Contact Helen Hu) - partnered with the Rotary Club of Calgary South
