Join us for a luncheon with Ian Anderson, a Canadian energy and infrastructure leader with a 44-year career spanning industry, government and Indigenous partnerships. As President and CEO of Trans Mountain for 17 years, he led the Trans Mountain Expansion Project, completed in 2024. He now advises Energy Alberta’s Peace River Nuclear Power Project and serves on the boards of Backwoods Energy Services and the Calgary Chamber of Commerce. He is also active in Calgary’s charitable community.
Drawing on this experience, Ian will talk about today’s reality: for over a decade, major projects in our country have faced a complex web of challenges. Political will alone does not get things built, and political obstacles alone do not prevent building. The conversation will explore the many stars that need to align to get major projects built in our country.
