Rotary in Southern Alberta District’s Governor, Dan Doherty, inducted Dr Emmanuel Gye as a new member of the Rotary Club of Airdrie on Tuesday. Ema grew up in Northern Nigeria where he qualified as a physician, lived in England and trained to become a family doctor before coming to Airdrie in 2010 where he feels honored in take part in his patients' life journey. His life partner is Pamela and they are blessed with two sons.

Ema is keen about community development and improvement. He defines community as where he lives and the world at large. He joined Rotary because of the community service work done locally and across the globe. He takes reassurance out of Rotary’s ethics and discipline on projects, and the integrity of the participating members.
