The main objective of the program is to minimize the cost to the family of having their children in school. The students in this program are children who, without the aid of this Becas (Scholarship) would be forced to drop out of school at the age of 12 years.

•To remain in the program the students must maintain a minimum grade point of 8.5
•If
the students grade point average falls below 8.5 they have one semester
to get their marks back up in order to remain in the program
•Because
the Club is involved in other worthwhile programs and has limited
recourses of funding they are looking for theirs to sponsor students in
the program.
•Costs of Sponsorship per year is:
–$250 per year for grades 7-9
–$300 per year for grades 10-12
–$350 per year for University
