Literacy Fair this year! One of the great portions of Fallbrook A Leer (FAL) is the literacy faire where students and their families participate in various activities, arts, and crafts that focus on reading, writing, and community service. What does that mean? FAL is on Saturday, April 1st at Maie Ellis Elementary. The literacy faire is 90 minutes long, from 11:30-1:00. Each community group can sponsor a booth at the faire, which should have 1-2 adults to manage the table, but you will be provided 5-10 student volunteers to help run an activity. In addition, each organization is asked to provide 150 small crafts that can be completed in less than 15 minutes. Crafts can be any range of activities such as bookmarks, pencil holders, hand-made notebooks, water color paintings, etc.
