Rotarians At Work Day
Every April we have a Rotary At Work Day. It is usually the last Sat of the month. It was started in 2006 as a joint effort between two Rotary Districts (one in the United States and one in Mexico), Rotarians at Work Day continues to grow. Each year, Clubs around the world identify a hands-on project that all members can participate in to help their local community. This day is a great way to revitalize our Club, bring in new members and generate publicity for Rotary.
We have a project this month that qualifies for this effort. We will be at Enso House on April 27th., and have great participation in this project. Everyone wears their Rotary at Work Shirt and we make a difference for Enso House. This year we need to get the word out about what we are doing and the impact it has on our community. It is one of those special projects we put our efforts into, we make it a fun project and help Enso House to maintain their grounds and make it a special place for a final stop as those we love move on to the next life.
