This year the Rotary Club of Angel Fire sponsored three high school juniors to attend Rotary’s week long leadership camp. On July 31, on of the participating students visited our club and described her adventure as a “life changing experience”.
RYLA is Rotary's leadership training program for young people. RYLA participants can be ages 14-30, however our district and clubs choose to focus on Juniors in high school. Camp RYLA emphasizes leadership, citizenship, and personal growth. It aims to demonstrate Rotary's respect and concern for youth; provide an effective training experience for selected youth and potential leaders; encourage leadership of youth by youth, and recognize publicly young people who are rendering service to their communities.

If you have a student in your family that will be a high school junior next year and are interested in this fantastic program,  please contact our New Generations Leader, Janice Brooks, for more information.
