FIND OUT IF YOU HAVE THE COVID-19 ANTIBODY ON 9/30
Hi Everyone, As you can imagine the hospitals are short on blood and the Rotary Club of Angel Fire is sponsoring a Vitalant blood drive on September 30 from 10:30 to 2:30 at the Community Center. To make an appointment, please go to:
Or call Vitalant at (877) 258-4825; Sponsor Code Angelfire.
They are now providing complementary testing for SARS-CoV-2 antibodies. This test determines if a donor has previously had the COVID19 virus. Donors can see their results through the online Vitalant donor portal 14 days after donating. This test does not determine if a donor is currently infected with the virus. If a donor is ill or has been directly exposed to someone who is sick within 14 days prior to donating, they are asked to not donate. All donors will be temperature pre-screened prior to being admitted to the blood drive, and masks are required at all times while in the donation area.

Christopher Schell, the editor of our new exciting Blinking Light newspaper, will join us to tell us a little about himself, his background and why he decided to restart this valuable community service. You will also learn how to become featured in his publication and of course how to advertise. We are still holding our meetings by ZOOM so it is very easy for you to join either by computer, iPad, tablet or telephone. And of course feel free to enjoy your lunch while meeting with us.
If you have not seen a copy of this new publication yet, free copies are available in the newstand located at the bottom of the stairs next to Mountain Sports and under Angel Fired Pizza. I encourage you to pick one up before the meeting.
We are opening this meeting to the public so please pass along this invite to anyone else you think might be interested.
