Jessica Corley, M.Ed. is one of 5 Site Coordinators in the Albuquerque area providing relief and assistance to Asylum Seeking Families passing through Albuquerque on the way to their Sponsor’s homes throughout the Country.  Jessica will present a brief overview on the meaning of Asylum, the changing landscape for Asylum Seeking and why this is so different from the past. Communities, mostly Faith-based, throughout the I-25 Corridor have responded with volunteers, financial donations and other resources to help deal with the humanitarian crisis on our Border with Mexico.
