RDS Navajo Hope Project Donations

As you know, Del Sol has made a concentrated effort to provide Covid 19 relief to the Crownpoint Chapter of the Navajo Nation.  This NM community is suffering great losses of life, unemployment, and access to food and supplies. 

Our visits have painfully exposed the dire situation that exists there and underscored their need for Rotary-in-Action.  Other Albuquerque Clubs and Clubs throughout the District are joining in.  Even a Club from Virginia is on board.  We expect this will go on for months.

The Del Sol and Albuquerque Clubs are taking the lead.  Please consider helping!  

Every week when you shop for groceries, keep our Navajo neighbors in mind.  Canned vegetables and meat, bleach, hand sanitizer, diapers, wipes, snacks, cereal, pasta, rice, beans, and menstrual supplies all needed.  

Then, drop it off at: 

                            The Albuquerque Collective

                            1321 Eubank NE 

                            Saturdays and Sundays 10am-3pm.

Or bring your donations to any RDS club meeting and we will see that they are delivered to the collection site!

Volunteers are needed to welcome incoming donations at the collection site and a signup exists on our site for full and half shifts.  We also need volunteer drivers with large vehicles on weekends for deliveries.  It’s an experience you won’t forget.  We are a safe operation.
