Random Acts of Kindness

Your Rotary Del Sol service committee would like to offer the opportunity to join us Saturday, June 23, 2018 to help Albuquerque Fire Fighters Random Acts of Kindness!  We have set up seven one-hour shifts between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.  They have asked to have at least 2 volunteers per hour from Rotary Del Sol to support their Book and Balls program.   

 

We will help manage an information table that will include BCFD, AFR and Random Acts information, stickers and goodies. We will also be walking around fire trucks on display handing out stickers and helping direct visitors to story time, a coloring station, and real life firefighter gear to try on.

 

Finally, we can help generate interest and books sales so that the fire fighters can purchase more books for local schools.  The book fair is intended to help fund the program, "Books and Balls".  This program allows firefighters to purchase books and balls for donation to local schools.
