Just completed my 14th year with Amtrak
1. Primary duties include working with state and local governments served by Amtrak in: Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia
2. Four of these states (Texas, Oklahoma, North Carolina and Virginia) provide state funding to operate additional service beyond the national network
3. Working with existing Amtrak served states to improve service and facilities, expand frequencies and develop new corridor service.
3. Nine of Amtrak’s fifteen long-distance trains serve these 11 states
