In March of 2018, Jennifer joined Shriners Hospitals for Children – Shreveport, the world’s first Shriners Hospital. Shriners is a pediatric specialty hospital treating children with orthopaedic issues, cleft lip and palate, and more, regardless of the family’s ability to pay. Shriners Hospital opened in Shreveport in 1922. Shriners Hospitals for Children in Shreveport annually sees more than 19,000 children providing services, treatments, rehab, surgery, and other care for children up to age 18.
She is a graduate of LSU-Shreveport with a bachelor’s degree and is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE). Jennifer is past President for the South Shreveport Rotary Club, and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She believes that happiness is a choice, and that a person’s circumstances do not have to define them – which is why she LOVES Shriners.
