City of Pascagoula

Dr. Steve Demetropoulos has been a practicing emergency medicine physician and member of the Pascagoula community for over thirty years. He and his wife Therese have raised their beautiful family here and has Pascagoula’s best interests at heart. Throughout his career, he has worked in various volunteer and hospital adjacent positions for the City of Pascagoula, which is why he’s committed to bringing a new vision, a new dedication and a new energy to a city where he wants citizens to have every opportunity to work, play and grow to their fullest potential.

His dedication to Pascagoula and its citizens developed as a young man working on his family’s cattle farm. It was growing up in a small town and later in Medical School where Dr. Steve learned the importance of putting others first, a concept he carried on to the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine, and into his career as a board certified ER physician. Today, that mantra is at the core of his campaign. Now, Dr. Steve asks that you share the vision!
