Again, we have the pleasure of bringing you closer to the members of Kampala South. This time we cornered the elusive and mysterious Frederick Tumusiime and managed to get a word or two from him.

ET:  TELL ME ABOUT ROTARIAN FRED?

FT: I joined Rotary on January 30th 2012. My classification is Infrastructure Planning Services and currently serving on the Projects Committee.

ET: AND WHAT DO YOU DO OUTSIDE ROTARY?
 FT:
I have four siblings. Most folks say I'm results-oriented, people-person, family-is-everything kind of person. Am a sucker for honesty and don't forgive when betrayed.

ET: WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN & GAMES
 FT:
Well I enjoy reading (contemporary issues), playing chess, watching sports especially soccer and basketball. I also love animals. I have a Maltese pet dog named Golola Jenny and a kitten named Lucy. We are still getting to know each.

ET: LET US GET DOWN TO BUSINESS
FT:
The things that inspire me to be a Rotarian is Service and Volunteerism. Plus my club members who are fun and never allow for a boring moment!!

ET: WHAT IS YOUR HIGHER CALLING?

FT:  I want to reach out to the less fortunate as often as I can. This explains why I chose to work with a Development Cooperation)

ET: GIVE US A WORD TO THE WISE

FT: I Say, Life is for the living ~ anonymous

ET: YOU SAY YOU LOVE TO READ, ANY CATCHY TITLES WE SHOULD LOOK         OUT FOR?
 FT:
No favorites but Malcom Gladwell and Paul Collier are among favorite authors

ET: GETTING DOWN TO CRAZY STUFF YOU HAVE DONE?
FT:
Hmmm where to start..well, once was at the coast and I picked a lady from the bar, took her to my hotel room..but couldn't proceed with the night's action when she confessed to "doing it" for the money. I proceed to pay for a service I was no longer interested in. I think one should never (directly) pay for certain things)

ET: ANY LAST WORD?
FT:
We live once, and one should live every day like it's their last...
