FRIENDS OF KAMPALA SOUTH
“I am part of the alumni of the great Rotaract club of Kampala City. A club whose membership greatly contributes to the membership of Kampala South. At that time as I transitioned into a Rotarian it was no brainer that Kampala South was known to me because most members of this club did not only visit my Rotaract club but also fully participated as members of the club and paid their dues.” Explained Rice when we asked how she found out about Kampala South.
Rice Nsiime is a friend to this club and also Rotarian in the Rotary club of Lugogo Mango tree.
Rice says that Kampala South has a vibrant and active segment of members who make it easy for one to achieve their objectives of Rotary. The meeting time and day is very favorable too, considering it’s a Monday and a start of the week with a fresh mind. The Rotary service at Kampala South is an amazing story. I believe it reflects the true definition of “service above self “
When asked about what she finds inspiring in the club, she tells us; “The energy that the members have and the dedication to serve. The bond created by club members and the fun while serving are memories to live for.”
While concluding her interview, Rice advises that the best service is one to humanity. “Let’s continue to serve above self.”
