FRIENDS OF KAMPALA SOUTH
We spoke to Slim Peter Mugarura who is friend to the club. He says, “I got to know about the Rotary Club of Kampala South in 2010, when a colleague of mine at URA at the time asked me to join him for fellowship at Hotel Africana. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Kampala North, Rotarian Emmanuel Kamugira.” Slim disclosed that Kampala South has some of the best fellowships that he has attended. He says they are informative and full of wit. He adds that he loves the camaraderie amongst the members and likes the fundraising drives because they are always a hit.
“If I wasn't a member of the Rotary Club of Kampala City, I would definitely be at South. “Says Slim. When asked about the membership of the club, Slim says, the membership is so vibrant, so immersed in the club and its activities.
At the end of the interview, Slim told us his advice is to keep the club as vivid and as it has always been.
