92nd DCA - The Homecoming Fellowsip Victory Parade

Welcome back to all who travelled to Arusha for the 92nd District Conference and Assembly (DCA). You surely did keep the Rotary flag flying high.

 

On a more interesting note, the oft-alluded to #SouthernStorm was seen gathering clouds over the awards ceremony during the DCA. Lo and behold, the #SouthernStorm gathered so much dust and turned into gale force winds as the awards were read.

……Bang the lightning struck and the club won the following at the 92nd DCA - Closing Session:

1. Community Service Projects- Rotary Club Kampala South (works with four active Rotary Community Corps aka RCCs),

2. Family of Rotary - RC Kampala South (Highest number of family social events),

3. Most participation in club youth Programs RC Kampala South.

 

We would also like to congratulate Rtn Kenneth Mugisha on assuming the mantle of District Governor Elect 2017/18. Congratulations too, to Rtn Xavier Sentamu for being elected the District Governor Nominee Designate.
