Welcome back to the the Past Presidents' Lounge, where we learn about which moments and events made our past leaders who they are today. In this week's interview, PP Donnan Byabazaire shares his personal journey in the club as President.
Please tell us a bit about who you are.
I am Donnan Kahuma Byabazaire, the 4th of six children from my parents. I hail from Kibwona - Masindi. I am married and presently with 3 children. I work with Fourways Group in Luzira that deals in fresh fish exports, fuel, property and spices. I love outdoor excursions/travel, adventure, music, basketball and dancing. I Joined the Rotary Club of Kampala South on Monday 11th August 2003 straight from Rotaract Club of Kololo courtesy of PP Paul Muwanga's subtle yet firm talks and convincing to join his club.
On Monday 17th August, we will host Richard Ssebaggala who is expected to deliver a master class on customer experience titled 'Unhappy customers? No problem!' He is the author of the critically acclaimed The Fish Rots from the Head - Improving Customer Relationship Management in an African Environment.
The Virtual Rotary Cancer Run is only FIFTEEN days away. Mark your calendars and join the fight against cancer. See flyer (right) for more information.

We spoke to Pauline Yawe who is an Entrepreneur and friend to Rotary. She says; “I found out about Kampala South through Charles Odaga, one of my oldest childhood friends. I felt lost out when it was hard to meet him because he was always in Rotary. When he invited me to visit the club, I happily accepted the invite.”
