HOW NYACONGA BECAME A BUDDY GROUP
Since the Board’s decision that was taken in the Rotary year 2016/2017, that the buddy group names should go by places where the Club was active in terms of community service, Nyaconga has held a special place in the life of Kampala South, hence the formation of the buddy group- Nyaconga . It was also a strategy for members familiarizing themselves with the Club’s Service Projects.

The most recent visit to the project (September 2020) was attended by 43 members, 15 of which were Club members from the Rotary club of Kampala South, 1 Rotarian from Rotary Club of Muyenga Breeze and 1 from Rotary Club of Mbarara. There were also; 7 members from the Rotaract club of Kampala South, 1 from Rotaract Kampala the Core and 3 from Rotaract Kampala City.
